5th Annual Vanguard Awards

The Vanguard Awards profiles the outstanding efforts of young professionals and entrepreneurs growing and excelling in their respective fields. These individuals influence the growth, prosperity and quality of life in Metro Detroit. They demonstrate the ability to positively impact the area long-term through professional accomplishments and community involvement.


Nominees for a Vanguard Award are automatically considered for the following three Members Choice Awards:

  • Community Servant Award - Recognizes a devoted community change agent.
  • Rising CEO Award - Recognizes a progressive professional demonstrating exemplary leadership.
  • Pioneer Award - Recognizes an distinguished entrepreneur.


Join on Thursday, October 1 at the Max M. Fisher Music Center as we celebrate the 5th Annual Vanguard Awards.  

Early Bird Registration ends on July 31st. 

  • DYP Members - $55 (register through the Member Portal)
  • Non-Members - $65

General Admission ends on September 18th

  • DYP Members - $65 (register through the Member Portal). Member discount ends on September 12th
  • Non-Members - $75
