April DYP Member Spotlight: Godwin Ihentuge and Jason Brown

DYP is excited to present 2 Detroiters, both graduates of Wayne State University, in this month's Member Spotlight! Although new members, Godwin Ihentuge and Jason Brown are avid DYP supporters that can be spotted at events around Detroit.  Both joined DYP to become more connected with like minded Detroiters, so be sure to connect with them online and when you spot them around town.

Godwin Ihentuge

Godwin Ihentuge is the Founder and Chief Villager at YumVillage, a cloud based Table D’hote that brings together food enthusiasts to share crafted cuisines by aspiring chefs. What makes YumVillage unique is that guests rate the chefs on-site and feedback is shared with them after each dinner. Additionally, a percentage of the proceeds that YumVillage generates are donated to local non-profit organizations.

A graduate from Wayne State University, Godwin has continued his path in Detroit by working for companies such as Quicken Loans. He is proud to directly contribute to Detroit’s growth and believes the city breeds a special tenacity that rewards the grit and substance of determination. Godwin joined DYP because their mission aligned with his and also helped cultivate relationships with other DYP members.  For fun, Godwin enjoys reading science fiction, solving puzzles and cooking. You can reach out to Godwin at YumVillage@gmail.com

Jason Brown

Jason is a brand new DYP Member, but longtime supporter. A graduate of Laura F. Osborn High School in Detroit and Wayne State University, with a BS in Finance, Jason coaches and trains beginners on how to profit in the stock market. Jason's proudest accomplishment personally and professionally is growing a small student loan into a 6 figure stock trading account at age 22 with no formal stock market education.

As Jason puts it, "there's not a lot of education around the stock market, especially in the Metro Detroit area, so my goal is to financially empower those in and around the city of Detroit." Jason joined DYP to get more connected with Young Professionals in Metro Detroit, participate in some of the volunteer activities and see if there are any other synergies. Some lesser known things about Jason are: He enjoys salsa dancing, developing websites, and internet marketing. Don't believe him? Check out his website here: www.thebrownreport.com. You can reach out to Jason at jason@thebrownreport.com.
